Proxaut 2026 - Work Experience Placement, Part 1

From March 9^th , a fourth-year student from the IPSC course at Primo Levi Secondary School in Vignola, Modena, had the opportunity to take part in a work experience promoted by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, right here at Proxaut. This ministerial project is designed to bring students closer to the world of work. It’s very important because it encourages direct dialogue and mutual understanding, helping young people in particular to discover what they would like to do when they “grow up”.

Matteo Corsi spent three weeks with us, during which he not only observed but also gave his own contribution, working with the Administration, Marketing and Human Resources departments.

So what has Matteo taken away from this experience? Here are some of his reflections that we would like to share:

“I knew from my teachers and parents that this placement would be fundamental for my personal, professional and communication development, both now and in the future… I was curious to understand how it was working in a factory, but above all I wanted to step mentally into the world of work and build new relationships outside school…

What have I reached the end of the placement? I can say that I was able to put into practice some of the things I had learned at school; unfortunately, there is often too much focus on theory at school. Over these three weeks, I got on very well with all my colleagues. Everyone was extremely willing to help me and explain things again, even more than once…

I believe I can recommend this company because it is a very open environment… I think I built a good relationship with everyone, and I hope that in the future I may be able to return — not as a student, but as an employee.”

Matteo’s reflections gave us great pleasure. We were all very happy to have him with us in the company; he brought a breath of fresh air that took us, in a way, back to our own school days.

Proxaut is a young company, with an average age of around 40, and perhaps thanks to this too, we were able to listen to Matteo, engage with his stories about school life, and exchange thoughts and reflections with him on the world of work.

To Matteo and his classmates, we offer our very best wishes and one recommendation: persevere with your studies and find your own path, whatever it may be — but always remember that in life, every experience is useful.
