One of the most important trade fairs for the bakery and confectionery industry in Europe, for more than 29 years it h
as been a key point of interest for companies and producers mainly from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy and the Netherlands.
Large numbers of visitors come from the international market as well, and also from the rest of the world.

At the event, an AGV from PROXAUT's LIFTER series will be presented, specially designed for transporting stainless steel bowls for planetary mixers and food mixer machines. Specifically, this is a container / bowl with a capacity of 160 kg of dough (approximately 100 kg of flour and 60 litres of water).
The integrated use of AGV conveying systems with mixers allows the highest levels of
AGVs and shuttles for handling and storing foodstuffs can be highly customised. Proxaut produces vehicles that are decidedly UNIQUE because they are built on the basis of the customer's needs; in addition to this type of vehicle, PROXAUT also supplies more standard vehicles and fleets to ensure a wide range of solutions and possibilities.
In general, PROXAUT's AGVs (automated guided vehicles) can be:
- LH series vehicles (Lifter): these are the vehicles most reminiscent of traditional manned forklift because they generally have forks. They are used to transfer goods on pallets, crates, trays, etc. and can be in the iconic PROXAUT red or be in AISI 304 food grade stainless steel to operate inside food production departments.
- SH series vehicles (Shuttles): these are the vehicles that are normally called shuttles or mobile platforms because they are able to transport goods on their own platform. These AGVs are also used to transfer goods inside production departments, on pallets, rollers, etc. and can be of painted or made of AISI 304 food grade stainless steel to operate inside food production departments.
One of the most common applications of these AGVs is in the food and ‘food processing’ sector because they are able to move nimbly within cold rooms even at negative temperatures of more than -20°, in curing chambers, leavening and fermentation areas. These forkless forklifts in the SH (shuttle) series can also be equipped with refrigeration systems to transport goods and maintain the cold chain when transporting refrigerated and frozen food products.
