CFIA: the agri-food fair in Rennes (France) in collaboration with Armor Inox

On 12, 13 & 14 March 2024, PROXAUT will be participating to the latest edition of the CFIA exhibition, at Rennes Parc Expo. Now in its 27th year, CFIA is the leading event in the food industry in France, with 1,700 suppliers, 100 more, including 300 new ones.
The start-up this year will be great: with 300 square metres available to receive about twenty companies in Hall 2 for a thematic area and a new feature in Hall 4 called "Trends Area" where 10 companies will be looking at "Tomorrow's ingredients".

More than ever before, PROXAUT is looking forward to approaching new markets and making new experiences under the guidance of Middleby Food Processing. On this occasion the sales team of Proxaut will be working closely with Armor Inox from Mauron (France), brand of Middleby since 2011, to present its lifting and shuttle AGVs and to give technical support in warehouse and production automation.
Thanks to its highly qualified Sales staff, PROXAUT will present its forklifts and shuttle AGVs and provide technical support in terms of automation solutions for food industry.
At the CFIA exhibition, PROXAUT will be bringing a vehicle from the SHUTTLE series, a stainless steel AGV (usually called shuttles or mobile platforms). This series of autonomous navigation vehicles are used to transfer goods within production departments, from point A to point B. The missions, the tasks, are guided thanks to a laser, magnetic or induction navigation systems enabling the vehicle to transfer goods on pallets, roller conveyors, stainless steel racks and structures for sausage, ham, meat factories, etc.
For applications in the food production sectors, the AGVs are made of AISI 304 food grade stainless steel to guarantee maximum hygiene and resistance to corrosion from acid and saline environments, for example, and from the use of aggressive detergents for industrial cleaning of machinery.
One of the most widespread applications of these AGV systems is in the 'food processing' sector, as the automated guided vehicles are the ideal solution for transporting goods in freezers in temperatures above -20° C, in the curing and smoking chambers for example. These forkless elevators belonging to the SH series series can also be equipped with refrigeration systems to transport goods and maintain the cold chain in the case of refrigerated and frozen food products.
