SIRENE Project

In collaboration with a team of UNIMORE researchers called ARS Control, PROXAUT is pleased to present the SIRENE project.

ARS Control is a group of researchers from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia whose goal is to carry out research on the applications of control theory, robotics and automation. This team of researchers has been active since 2001 at the Department of Engineering Sciences and Methods of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

The research group is working on several projects in the field of Robotics and Automation, applications closely linked to the activity of PROXAUT especially in terms of traffic control of AGV vehicles and tele-operation.

Part of the project led alongside the PROXAUT Research & Development Office concerns the modelling of mechanical systems for control and prognostics for industrial machinery. PROXAUT strongly believes in the essential link between industry and the academic world. The company has always tried to establish lasting collaborations to tackle real technical problems that arise daily both in the production and after-sales service areas.

The realisation of this project was possible thanks to a tender included in the regional operational program of Emilia-Romagna called Por Fesr 2014-2020 for the use of European funds for economic growth and the attractiveness of the territory.
