FAQ
Why use an AGV in the industrial bakery and pastry sector?
-
The AGV lifter with special lifting tool is ideal for transporting containers and removable stainless bowls to kneading machines and planetary mixers for producing various creams, fillings, doughs, jams, marmalades, biscuits and other baked goods. Once the flour, water, yeast and other ingredients have been mixed, the AGV unloads the tank and moves it to the proving, fermentation and/or resting area, or to another location for subsequent processing. The product remains in these areas only for the desired time, after which it is transferred to the next stages of processing automatically and in perfect synchronization with the other machines, thanks to the interface with the customer's management system.
AGVs can generally operate in various areas within the production process, including production areas, connection areas and goods storage areas. When loading and unloading operations involve dough for bread making and other fresh food products, AGVs can work in temperature-controlled and refrigerated environments, including cold rooms and freezers with temperatures as low as -21°C.

AGVs can reduce personnel and indirect costs, minimize human error thanks to integration with WMS and management software, improve traceability and offer maximum configurability with company management systems. They can also increase production with 24/7 shifts, improve safety and operate in environmentally hostile conditions while maintaining hygiene and cleanliness.
