The AGV vehicle has been designed and built to transport, on two independent powered roller conveyors, up to a maximum of 4 load units (LUs), each consisting of a pallet containing glass bottles. Each roller conveyor is designed to carry a maximum of two pallets.
The AGV vehicle is controlled by a management program via a radio-frequency communication system and is able to move automatically through an induction wire-guided system, including in outdoor environments.

How does the anti-collision safety system fitted on the AGV shuttle work?

The anti-collision laser system consists of a latest-generation sensor connected to the main safety control unit.
The main feature of this system is the possibility of setting different intervention areas according to requirements; each area consists of two different zones called the “Pre-alarm” area and the “Alarm” area.
The alarm area is contained within the pre-alarm area.
If an obstacle is detected in the pre-alarm area, the vehicle slows down; if the obstacle is not removed, the AGV vehicle stops immediately and also emits an acoustic signal to indicate its abnormal status.
