AGV shuttle featuring a powered roller conveyor transporting up to two pallets, each weighing up to 1,000 kg.

 

Maximum load unit (LU) weight ground level: 2,000 Kg (4,409 Lbs).

 

The AGV is able to autonomously control the opening and closing of the roll-up curtain used to protect the load from rain and adverse weather conditions.

The black cover has been specifically designed to allow the AGV to operate outdoors even in bad weather.

A weather station, constantly connected to the web, transmits data to the AGV and controls its outdoor operations; this system can prevent the AGV from carrying out outdoor transport in the event of hail, strong wind gusts and snowfall.

Why was this outdoor AGV with a weather station communication system developed?

 

  • The AGV with powered roller conveyor was designed to connect two plants belonging to the same customer via an outdoor route, even though they are separated by a road.
    Thanks to the introduction of the AGV, the connection has become continuous, scheduled and safe.
  • The AGV shuttle transfers pallets of finished products (savoury snacks and small bakery products) from the production plant to the customer’s warehouse.
  • The connection to the weather station prevents the AGV from operating outdoors in the event of strong wind gusts, severe thunderstorms and snowfall.

 

 

Is Proxaut’s AGV efficient even in fog and low-visibility conditions?

  • Absolutely. The wire-guided navigation system is the ideal solution even in poor visibility conditions (sun glare, fog, mist, etc.).
