In October 2023, PROXAUT exhibited for the first time at the CIBUS trade fair in Parma, Italy.
This event was supported by the Middleby company, which organised everything in close cooperation with the other group companies that participated including: Armor Inox, Colussi Ermes s.r.l.,FIREX S.R.L.. , Scanico, VE.MA.C SRL,
This was an opportunity to showcase an automated guided vehicle from Proxaut and specifically a stainless steel inertial-guided shuttle, designed to transfer meat and cold cuts, within production facilities, from point A to point B.
Thanks to racks, a stainless steel turret structure of VEMAC construction, the AGV vehicle is able to transfer cold meats, for example, and hams within the production and curing areas.
With this synergy with VEMAC, both companies were able to clearly simulate how the transport of perishable goods such as meat at heights of over 5,000 mm takes place.
Forklifts equipped with navigation systems are able to relieve operators of repetitive transport tasks, ensure compliance with procedures and missions, verify process consistency and significantly reduce error rates and accidents.
