In October 2023, PROXAUT exhibited for the first time at the IBA trade fair in Munich, Germany, together with other Middleby Group companies dealing with bakery, bread and confectionery products.
This was a unique opportunity for Proxaut, which it sought to make the most of by recreating a series of real and meaningful missions for its laser-guided vehicle in collaboration with the companies Colussi Ermes s.r.l. from Casarsa della Delizia (PN, Italy) and Escher Mixers Sr.l. from Malo (VI, Italy).
At the exhibition, the transfer of a stainless-steel mixing tank from a mixer by Escher to the leavening and fermentation rack (resting area) was successfully simulated.
After re-loading the mixing tank from the fermentation shelf, the laser guided forklift transferred the loading unit inside the industrial washing machine by Colussi Ermes.
Simulating a real production process in the bread and dough applications and was very appreciated.
The transfer of the loading unit (planetary mixing bowl with a capacity of 302 litres = 160 kg of dough) was precise and reliable, thanks to the use of special pins installed on the forks, a perfect example of a lifting truck with a highly customised and special forks.
