Proxaut has named Mr. Michele Riva General Manager of Proxaut to oversee activities including sales engineering, production, sales and marketing.
This appointment underscores Proxaut's commitment to innovation and the expansion of its offering, a clear objective also pursued by Middleby's top management.
This is an important step for the PROXAUT company and all its staff, who have experienced major changes since their acquisition by the Middleby group over two years ago.
Already in the company for more than 12 months, Riva immediately joined the sales department, soon becoming the Sales and Marketing Director and actively collaborating with Stefano Ballotti and the team dedicated to Sales and Marketing.
Here is how the Vice President of Integration Middleby Food Processing commented on the timing of Riva's appointment. ‘It is by addressing the current production challenges and anticipating the future needs of food and non-food producers that under Michele Riva's leadership Proxaut is poised to make giant strides in the self-driving vehicle sector,’ said Jean Luc Dreano.
All PROXAUT staff, colleagues and collaborators of the Middleby Food Processing Group wish Michele Riva all the best for the present and the near future. The Company just announces that former Chairman Stefano Ballotti will take on an advisory role, providing valuable technical support and active guidance in production operations.
Proxaut has named Mr. Michele Riva Managing Director of Proxaut to take charge of engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing operations.
Riva's extensive strategic expertise and more than 15 years of experience in protein processing technologies will facilitate the transition to ensure continued success.
The outgoing President, Mr Stefano Ballotti, will move into an advisory role, providing support and technical advice to ensure advanced, innovative and customised solutions for customers in all areas of the business.

History
The DNA of Proxaut has deep roots thanks to the long-standing experience of Mr. Ballotti which began in the early 80s and has matured in the most varied areas of the handling sector. Mr. Stefano Ballotti took his first steps in the field of automation but soon understood that making standard AGVs was not the future and set off on his path as a visionary entrepreneur: in this way, in 1997, Proxaut "tailored AGVs” came into being, where customised, special models are designed and created, tailored to the customer's needs. This pioneering spirit was nurtured day after day and represents the lifeblood of PROXAUT technology, increasingly at the service of companies.
